What to consider or look for if your Check Engine Light is on:
  • When the light first came on and how long it has been on.
  • Whether the vehicle was moving or stationary when the light first came on.
  • If you are experiencing any drivability problems with the vehicle.
  • Whether the light stays on continually or if it comes on intermittently.
  • Whether or not you have had any accessories installed or worked on recently.
Depending on how you answered these questions, you may need service. The first step is to bring your vehicle in to an AAMCO center where our certified technicians will perform a complete inspection.
